Trenholm Little League’s Coach Pitch Baseball and Coach Pitch Softball teams will be in action next week in their South Carolina Little League District 3 Tournaments.
The Trenholm Blue and Trenholm Red Coach Pitch Softball All Star Teams will be playing in the South Carolina Little League District 3 All Star Tournament starting on Wednesday, May 28 at Trenholm Park. All games will be held at Trenholm Park Field #2 and the tournament will finish on Thursday, May 29. The tournament will be a pool play tournament and feature Trenholm Blue, Trenholm Red and Irmo Green.
In the first game on Wednesday. May 28, Irmo Green will play Trenholm Red at 6:00 PM. Then at 8:00 PM, Irmo Green will play Trenholm Blue. Pool play finishes Thursday, May 29 with Trenholm Red vs. Trenholm Blue at 6:00 PM.
In last year’s South Carolina Little League District 3 All Star Tournament, Trenholm Blue went undefeated in the South Carolina Little League District 3 All Star Tournament defeating Mid Carolina and Irmo twice to win the SC District 3 Championship. They would win one game in the State Tournament.

The Trenholm Blue and Trenholm Red Coach Pitch Baseball All Star Teams will be playing in the South Carolina Little League District 3 All Star Tournament at Friarsgate Park starting on Friday, May 30. The tournament is a double elimination tournament. The Trenholm Red team will play first, playing the Irmo Gold team at 6:10 PM on Field #4. Trenholm Blue will play Lake Wylie Blue at 8:00 PM on Field #3.
The double elimination tournament will go through Monday, June 2. In last year’s tournament, Trenholm Blue lost the first game of the tournament to Irmo Gold. Then they ran the table, winning seven games in a row, including defeating Lake Wylie twice at the end of the tournament for the SC District 3 Championship. They would then go 3-2 in the South Carolina Little League State tournament making into the semifinal round.
